A dedicated Wellness professional with qualifications in Swedish massage, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Reflexology. Also trained in Pregnancy Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Reiki.

I am a dedicated Wellness professional with 30 years experience in Beauty, Spa and Complementary Therapies.
My qualifications include:
• MSc in Health and Wellbeing (Ulster University)
• First class BSc (hons) in International spa management (University of Derby)
• HND in Beauty Management (Belfast Metropolitan College) • VTCT diplomas in Swedish massage, aromatherapy, Indian head massage, hot stone massage and reflexology.

My research studies have included "an evaluation of the benefits and challenges of providing treatments to clients living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis" and "an exploration of Complementary Therapists’ experiences of delivering treatments to clients during the COVID-19 Pandemic".

I specialise in TPOT and the HEARTS process. These therapeutic touch therapies are beneficial for people living with cancer and other debilitating conditions.
It is my hope that complementary therapies become accessable to people that need them the most. Especially during challenging times in their lives.

Previous Employment includes

  • Hair and beauty salon operations manager at Belfast Metropolitan College and beauty manager for several salons in Belfast.
  • I have worked as a beauty and spa therapist at award winning spas in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland and as a beauty consultant for Clarins, Rituals and Marks and Spencer.
  • I volunteered as a complementary therapist in the cancer and wellbeing centre in the Royal Liverpool Hospital, Cancer Focus and the Oxygen Therapy MS centre in Larne.

Advanced Training

  • I am also trained in deep tissue massage, lava shell massage, bamboo massage, ear candling, pregnancy massage and reiki.
  • I have also worked with professional brands which include; Clarins, Comfort Zone, Caudalie, Elemis, Decleor, Ishga, Eve Taylor and Voya.
